A unique yellow peach tomato. This tomato owes its name to its resemblance to a peach, particularly its matte, fuzzy skin—a trait unusual for tomatoes. The downy skin also often has a blush characteristic of peaches. The fruits are rather small—50–80 grams—and have a very mild flavor. This is a tall-growing variety that bears fruit until the first frost. It can be trained to grow on two main stems.
Southern Exposure Seed Exchange also notes that fruits harvested before the first frost, once they have turned a light green shade, can be stored. This is an interesting way to extend your enjoyment of this delicate “tomato-peach.”
