A variety that produces oxheart-shaped fruits, whose thin skin and flesh feature a pattern of irregular blood-red and orange mottling. The fruits, weighing 200–450 g, are delicious and sweet with a light fruity note. The flesh is firm, with very few seeds. Mid-season.
This is a Jeff Dawson variety, created by crossing “Russian 117 Red” and “Georgia Streak.” It combines a heart-shaped form with warm, two-toned flesh. A cross-section of the fruit shows this combination much better than the skin alone.
