1. Holiday Greetings
To begin this newsletter, on behalf of our family, staff, and friends, we wish everyone a Happy Easter! May this joyful occasion remind you of the miracle of life and growth, as described in the Bible and as we will see in just a few days with the arrival of spring. May your gardens bloom abundantly, reminding you of the power of nature and the promise of new life brought by Christ’s Resurrection. May this holy season bring an abundance of the fruits of your labor and joy to your hearts.
2. Seedlings
In exactly 48 days, we’ll begin shipping seedlings. It may seem like a long time, but the truth is that it’s just a blink of an eye—liverworts are already blooming in the forests, the first insects are appearing, and spring is just a few days away. This message is primarily for those interested in purchasing our seedlings. Mid-March is a very important date for us, because after that date, we will no longer be able to produce more seedlings that will be ready by May. In other words, the only items available for purchase are those currently listed on our website, and if any variety sells out, it will no longer be available this season. In other words—if you want to take advantage of our full selection (while it lasts), do so now.
The second point is the shipping schedule. Orders placed in the coming days will still be shipped during the first shipping window (May 6–10). Orders placed after March 20–24 will be shipped the following week. And here’s that first tomato leaf waving at you so beautifully:

We’re continuing our lecture series “Tomato: From Seed to Seed.” So far, we’ve covered many interesting topics, ranging from variety selection and planting sites to composting, and ending (for now) with germination. Whenever possible, we’re holding the series every Sunday at 8:00 p.m. In the next episode, we’ll cover the potting stage.
