TSP (trisodium phosphate)

Trisodium phosphate (TSP, Trisodium Phosphate) is a chemical compound used, among other things, to disinfect tomato seeds. When performed properly, this treatment can reduce the presence of certain viruses on the surface of the seeds. Only a verified procedure appropriate for the specific pathogen and material should be used, without altering the concentration or exposure time on your own. This strongly alkaline solution requires protection of the skin and eyes, and nasiona must be thoroughly rinsed off after treatment. Excessively aggressive disinfection may impair the seeds’ ability to germinate.
