Spore

A spore is a microscopic structure used for reproduction by many fungi and fungus-like organisms. Spores can be spread by wind, water, insects, and tools. Once they land on a suitable plant and under favorable conditions, they initiate a new infection. To limit their spread, avoid splashing water and working on wet plants, and carefully remove infected tissue.
