Soil Moisture
Also known as: soil moisture
Soil moisture determines the availability of water to the root system. Soil that is too dry limits nutrient uptake, while excessive moisture leads to oxygen deficiency and the development of soil-borne diseases. The best results are achieved by maintaining a constant, moderate moisture level. You should check the moisture level below the surface or assess the weight of the container, and when watering, moisten the entire root zone.
