Multi-chamber design
Also known as: number of seed chambers
The number of chambers refers to the number of seed chambers inside the fruit. It is a varietal characteristic and affects the appearance of the cross-section and the amount of flesh. Large-fruited varieties often have more chambers than cherry tomatoes.
