Micronutrient Deficiency
Also known as: micronutrient deficiency
Micronutrients, such as iron, boron, manganese, zinc, copper, and molybdenum, are needed in small amounts but play key roles in plant metabolism. Deficiencies in these elements cause a variety of symptoms, often resembling diseases or deficiencies in macronutrients. Before applying fertilizers, it is important to correctly identify the cause of the problem, as an excess of micronutrients can also harm plants.
