Lighting

Light is the primary source of energy for photosynthesis. The amount of light affects growth rate, sugar content, fruit color, and the overall health of the plants. A lack of light leads to leggy growth, poorer flowering, and lower-quality yields. Tomatoes should be planted in the sunniest spot possible, and if seedlings become leggy, provide supplemental lighting and check the lamp’s positioning.
