Germination time
At an optimal temperature of about 24–28°C nasiona, tomato seeds usually germinate after 5–8 days. At lower temperatures, this process can take as long as two or three weeks. The speed of germination is also affected by the freshness of the seeds, the moisture content of the growing medium, and oxygen availability. A growing medium that is too wet is one of the most common causes of poor and uneven emergence.
