Cherokee Purple Variegate,’ but in the case of ‘
Splash of Cream,’ the white coloration is present throughout the entire plant and remains visible throughout its growth cycle. The fruits are small, firm, and excellent for sauces and purees. This tall plant has regular leaves and requires staking.
Splash of Cream is also found in collections under the name “Variegated.” Carolyn Male received plants from Greg Speichert and introduced them to the Seed Savers Exchange. The main ornamental feature of this variety is its cream-green variegated foliage.
