A tomato variety native to Ukraine. This tall-growing plant with regular leaves begins to bear fruit as early as about 75 days after transplanting. The fruits are large, very fleshy, and very tasty—perfect for sandwiches, salads, and sauces—weighing about 0.5 kg or more. It produces a bountiful harvest.
In seed collections, you’ll also find it listed as “Gigant Dukhova.” Tatiana’s TOMATObase notes that “Giant Doochov” is the commercial spelling used by TomatoFest—a useful detail when comparing descriptions and searching for information about this variety.
