The Hunt Strain is a line of
Delicious selected specifically for its exceptionally large fruits. This line was developed through many years of selecting the largest fruits from the
Delicious variety, and its fruits are true giants. The average weight of a single tomato is about half a kilogram, and specimens weighing over a kilogram are not uncommon. The fruits have a ribbed, flattened shape, are extremely fleshy, and are distinguished by their pinkish-red color with characteristic green shoulders. It is a late-season variety with a strong stem and tall growth habit, which makes staking necessary.
