Jubilee—also known as Golden Jubilee—brings a golden-orange color and a mild flavor with a subtle hint of tartness to the plate. In our cultivation, it yields abundantly, and the fleshy, aromatic fruits reach up to 400 g. Their slightly thicker skin helps them withstand transport well.
This variety, developed by W. Atlee Burpee, won an award at the All-America Selections in 1943. Thanks to this variety, you can compare today’s tomatoes with a variety that was already appreciated by gardeners in the first half of the 20th century. It is suitable for slicing, salads, and warm, orange-colored sauces.
