Amish Gold Slicer has golden-orange, rounded fruits that are easy to slice. Its firm, meaty flesh is perfect for sandwiches and salads, and its pleasant flavor makes it ideal for using any surplus in homemade sauces. The fruits are about 7–10 cm in diameter.

Amish Gold Slicer was included in the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station’s trials from 2018–2020 among the varieties with the most uniform, high-quality fruit.
