A very early determinate tomato variety. It originates from Russia and produces a very abundant crop. The fruits are perfectly round and intensely pink in color. They have a distinctly sweet-and-tart flavor. The fruits reach maturity about 58 days after transplanting. The plants are compact, dense, and short. Excellent for both field cultivation and greenhouse growing. It is a wonderful variety to start the season with.
Under the English name “Clear Pink Early,” the variety was introduced to the Seed Savers Exchange in 1995. The original Russian name was not preserved in this transmission—only the tomato itself survived, prized above all for its early maturity and compact growth habit.
