A delicious tomato that originated in the former USSR. The spherical fruits are medium in size, but have a captivating color of dark caramel, turning into red/chocolate. The crack-resistant skin and even size make this variety suitable for both domestic and commercial use. Fruits reach maturity about 70 days after planting. The variety is unique because of a mutation: the peduncle is devoid of an elbow. This is a trait found in a very small number of varieties. A low, self-terminating plant, it will do well in ground cultivation without covers.
