A very high-yielding grape tomato variety with an interesting dark color. The fruits are dark, chocolate-like in color, and are very aromatic and sweet. They’re perfect for adding a pop of color to salads, as a snack, or for eating straight off the vine. The fruit reaches maturity after about 70 days.
Aaron Whaley is the breeder behind this variety. With its dark color and sweet, complex flavor, it resembles the “Black Cherry,” but it is a distinct variety—one worth planting alongside it to compare during the summer harvest.
