A fantastic Russian early-season tomato variety that produces exceptionally well in cooler climates. This robust plant yields an abundance of moderately sized fruits—weighing up to about 120 grams. The fruits are round, deep red, and very juicy, while also surprising—for a variety that thrives in cooler conditions—with their rich flavor. The fruits reach maturity about 62 days after transplanting. This is a determinate variety.
Siberian’s seeds were donated to the Seed Savers Exchange by Will Bonsall in 1984. Its early fruiting and compact growth habit have made this variety suitable even for gardens with a short growing season.
