A strong plant with large leaves reminiscent of Brandywine variety, but the German Giant heirloom variety ripen earlier than Brandywine, has larger fruits and is more fertile. Fruits weigh over more than 1 kilogram, are fleshy, full of flavor and very sweet. The fruit ripens in about 80 days after planting.
