The Boondocks variety is characterized by large, potato-leaf foliage and beautiful pink-purple beefsteak-type tomatoes, which weigh about 400–600 g and have a wonderful, rich flavor. The tomatoes are smooth and well-shaped, with a flavor reminiscent of the ‘Brandywine’ variety. The fruit reaches maturity about 80 days after transplanting. This is a tall-growing variety.
