A very interesting tomato variety. This tall plant produces beautiful raspberry-colored fruits with an interesting shape and a thin, glossy skin. The fruit weighs between 120 and 170 g. It has a wonderful flavor with a good balance of acidity and sweetness. Perfect for eating fresh or in salads.
Sheboygan owes its name to a town in Wisconsin where Lithuanian immigrants have been growing it since the early 20th century. Jeff Nekola introduced it to the Seed Savers Exchange catalog in 1998. The fleshy, pink fruits carry this history with them even in gardens far from the place that gave them their name.
