German Head is a mid-late tomato variety preserved in collections, with a distinctive flavor that is hard to describe in words. It bears fruit quite abundantly about 80 days after transplanting, and the well-formed fruits have a slightly thicker skin than similar American varieties. The weight of a single fruit ranges from 400 g to one kilogram, and its flesh is uniformly dark pink. It is worth noting that the fruits are very resistant to cracking.
