I highly recommend it—it’s worth it. It’s my go-to tomato for snacking. On a tall-growing plant (staking required), clusters of slightly oval tomatoes, about 3 cm in diameter, are arranged quite densely. It’s suitable for training to 2–3 shoots. Their skin is initially pure green but takes on a yellowish hue when ripe for harvest. Inside, the flesh is bright green.
Green Grape is the result of breeding work by Tom Wagner, who also developed “Green Zebra.” It also appears in collections under the name “Raisin Vert.” This variety is one of his combinations of green-fleshed ripe tomatoes with a dessert-type, small-fruited tomato.
