The darkest of the varieties bred so far! Extremely rich in antioxidants! Anthocyanins in this tomato are very powerful antioxidants. In the early stages of fruit growth, any spot exposed to direct sunlight turns dark purple, even black. An immature tomato has green flesh, when ripe it turns purplish red. Fruits are small, cocktail-sized, weighing no more than 60 grams. The author of this variety is Jim Myers of Oregon State University, during the work only traditional methods of plant propagation were used. Despite its amazing appearance, it should be clearly emphasized that this variety is GMO-free! Fruits reach maturity about 75 days after planting.
