Tissue hyperplasia

Hyperplasia refers to the excessive proliferation of cells, leading to the formation of thickened areas or deformities in tissues. It can result from hormonal disorders, infections, or the action of certain pathogens. In tomato cultivation, this phenomenon occurs relatively rarely and is usually of little practical significance.
