Thermal insulation (covers)

Thermal insulation determines a tunnel or greenhouse’s ability to limit heat loss. The better the insulation, the easier it is to maintain a stable temperature during cold spells. Adequate insulation reduces temperature stress on plants and extends the growing season. Seal any uncontrolled gaps and, if necessary, use additional nighttime cover, but ensure ventilation resumes once temperatures rise.
