Hormonal Balance

Hormonal regulation involves the interaction of all the phytohormones that regulate tomato growth and development. Auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, ethylene, and abscisic acid do not act independently—their relative proportions determine germination, root growth, flowering, fruit ripening, and stress responses. A disruption of this balance can lead to problems with plant development.
