Germination capacity

Germination capacity refers to the percentage of seeds capable of producing healthy seedlings under specific conditions. It is a fundamental indicator of seed quality. However, high germination capacity does not always indicate high seed vigor. It is advisable to test an older or questionable batch on a small sample before sowing and to increase the number of seeds sown accordingly.
