Biological control

Biological control involves the use of natural organisms or biological substances to control diseases and pests. In tomato cultivation, beneficial fungi, bacteria, predatory insects, and parasitic insects are used, among other things. The goal of biological control is to reduce the use of chemical pesticides while maintaining high crop health. First, you must identify the pest or disease, then select a beneficial organism or product suited to the specific pest, disease, and conditions, applying it as early as possible and in accordance with the instructions.
