One of the tastiest varieties of dwarf tomatoes. The fruits are deep red, flattened, and irregular in shape, with thin skin and a very rich flavor. The fruits weigh between 150 and 450 grams and reach maturity about 75 days after planting. The dwarf plant, which grows throughout the season, reaches a height of about 100 cm and has potato-type leaves. The tomatoes have an excellent, complex flavor, balancing sweetness and acidity, and are perfect for salads, sandwiches, and preserves.
The variety was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier as part of the Dwarf Tomato Project. It is derived from a cross between ‘Golden Dwarf Champion’ and ‘Elbe,’ created by Patrina Nuske Small. It was first made available to gardeners in 2014.
