A variety of grape tomato, dating back to the early 20th century. It comes from Italy. Red, spherical fruit with a characteristic sharp tip. Medium-early. The name comes from Italian and literally means: In Winter Bunches, and in Italy this variety is known as winter grapes, both of these names result from the fact that it lasts long before consumption - at the end of the season, unripe bunches can be simply cut off and hung, e.g. in the kitchen, where they will ripen for several more weeks.
