The first official information on this variety comes from Louisiana of 1848. Very little, really hot and spicy and flavorful peppers have become a major component of a well-known sauce Tabasco Pepper Sauce. Perfect for sauces or as a condiment or additive to canning giving them spicy flavor. Fruits small, 30,000 to 50,000 SHU, deep red, mature in about 85 days after planting.
