Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye is a true work of art among tomatoes. This spectacular variety stands out for its early ripening among tomatoes with large, fleshy fruits. This highly productive variety produces dark purple fruits with distinct green stripes that turn silvery. The flesh is very meaty and port wine-colored. We encourage you to buy this variety, as the fruits not only taste delicious but are also perfect for cooking, salads, and even preserves.
It originates from Brad Gates’s breeding program at Wild Boar Farms. The grower describes it as a variety with indeterminate growth but a fairly compact habit, ripening approximately 65–75 days after planting the seedlings. Despite its compact growth, it requires support.
