Thank you very much for participating in our “Tomato Detective #1” contest. We’ve been very pleasantly surprised not only by the number of entries but also by their quality, as we believe the contest was by no means easy. We’d also like to thank you for the many emails and messages containing kind words about the contest itself. We’re glad it brought you so much joy. Now, without further ado, here are the details and results:
Participants submitted a total of 404 answers, including: 335 incomplete answers—meaning only some of the questions were answered, 5 incorrect answers—where the name of a given variety was given incorrectly and... 64 correct answers!
The biggest challenge was identifying the variety named Midas, which was often confused with Banana Legs and Orange Banana. As a result of the drawing, we selected the following winners:
