I suppose for everyone, New Year’s Day falls on January 1st every year. We, on the other hand, celebrate two such anniversaries each year: one traditionally on January 1st, and the other in October, when we publish our latest catalog. The reason is simple: we work year-round on the new catalog, and its release is a true celebration for us—and a milestone of sorts. It’s the result of every small step along the way—from selecting and sowing seeds, to caring for seedlings and transplants, testing individual varieties, harvesting seeds, and photo shoots—and finally, in early October, we can share our discoveries with you.
