New seedlings now available

Our seedlings are growing like crazy! Beautiful spring weather, bright sunshine, and increasingly longer days leave no doubt—the germination period is coming to an end! With that in mind, we’re adding six more new varieties to this year’s selection of seedlings. Four of them are wonderful tomatoes that you’ve often asked for in emails and phone calls, and one is an intriguing pepper variety that was hugely popular last year—the Ornamental Pepper. It’s perfect for growing in a pot on your windowsill. It has beautiful leaves, among which lovely, tiny, red peppers appear. And the best part? The tiny peppers are edible, spicy, and delicious!

A stunning, exceptionally decorative pepper. Its most striking feature is its lovely, unique, variegated white-and-green leaves, which give it the appearance of an exotic flower. It resembles a poinsettia. The plant grows to about 20 cm tall and spreads out to about 35 cm. Its fruits are initially whitish-cream, gradually turning yellow and then orange, and when ripe, they take on a glossy red color. Highly recommended for planting in pots, in the ground, or in floral arrangements.

An interesting tomato variety with a high anthocyanin content. Where the fruit is exposed to sunlight, it turns a distinct black-purple color. The rest of the fruit is red-orange. The average weight of a ripe fruit is about 90 grams. This is a tall-growing plant that requires staking or tying up. The fruits reach maturity about 75 days after planting.

We present to you the world’s smallest tomato—Micro Tom. The plant is short, not exceeding 20 cm in height, yet it is literally laden with fruit. The fruits are round, bright red, and have a pleasant flavor. The fruits are similar in size to the larger fruits of grape-type varieties. This variety was created for use wherever space is limited—pots, balconies, and windowsills—which is where Micro Tom truly shines. The fruits ripen about 85 days after planting. The plant is very productive, practically overflowing with tomatoes; several dozen fruits can be harvested from each bush.

An interesting tomato variety originating from Ukraine. The bright red fruits, weighing between 240 and 350 grams, ripen in about 68 days and are resistant to cracking. The flavor of this variety is highly regarded in numerous taste competitions, where Cosmonaut Volkow very often takes first place. In terms of flavor, it resembles the Brandywine variety. It is a very high-yielding variety, even in cooler climates.

The Katja variety is one of the least common tomato varieties, which is a shame. It is a self-terminating tomato variety that yields very abundantly as early as about 60 days after planting. The fruits are large and can weigh more than half a kilogram. The skin is delicate but not overly susceptible to damage or cracking. These beefsteak-type tomatoes are an intense red color, evenly colored, and lack a pronounced calyx.
