Dear customers, not everyone knows that the end of April marks the final deadline for sowing tomato seeds. Plants sown this late in the ground will certainly not bear fruit this season, and in a greenhouse or plastic tunnel, they will not bear fruit until September. This means the yield will be very poor; at best, no more than two clusters will have time to ripen before the frosts set in. We strongly advise against sowing seeds this late; instead, we invite you to purchase seeds for the next season, which “kicks off” at the end of September, or to contact us to purchase ready-to-plant seedlings.
