A dwarf plant with very large leaves and thick, sturdy stems—these are the characteristics typical of dwarf varieties. Unlike determinate varieties, this plant does not stop developing a growth cone, so it can be trained to produce either multiple shoots or a single one. The fruits are bright orange and very fleshy—typical beefsteak tomatoes. They ripen in about 70 days.
Its history began with a cross between Golden Dwarf Champion and Elbe, created by Patrina Nuske Small. Craig LeHoullier selected and named this intensely orange variety, which was released by the Dwarf Tomato Project in 2014.
