The Lange Aemer variety produces large quantities of elongated, green tomatoes, similar in shape to the Opalka variety, though smaller. As the fruit ripens, its color changes from green to amber-orange. The fruits feature distinct color patterns that resemble a flame. They have an excellent flavor and are virtually seedless. They are ideal for salads, where their color adds a surprising touch, and can also be used as a base for sauce or green tomato juice. The skin is delicate yet resistant to damage. The fruits ripen approximately 75 days after planting. The plant is determinate, with shoots not exceeding 100 cm in length.
