The Lange Aermer variety produces large quantities of elongated green tomatoes, resembling Opalka in shape, although smaller than it. The fruits color from green toward amber-orange as they ripen. The fruits have a distinct discoloration, forming a kind of flame. Excellent in taste, virtually seedless. Very suitable for salads, where it surprises with its color, it can also be used as a base for sauce or green tomato juice. The skin is delicate and resistant to damage. Fruits ripen about 75 days after planting. Self-terminating plant, the length of shoots does not exceed 100 cm.
